NEFAR Nets $19,200 For Haven Hospice At Charity Bass Fishing Tournament

Realtor association donates 100 percent of all proceeds raised at annual Tournament to Haven Hospice.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) held their Eighth Annual Charity Bass Fishing Tournament on April 30, raising and donating $19,200 to Haven Hospice.

The Palatka City Docks bustled with activity before dawn broke, as a committed group of NEFAR and Haven Hospice volunteers and 67 eager boaters mingled and prepared to launch. After a day on the St. Johns River, boaters returned for the 3 p.m. weigh in, awarding of prizes for lucky anglers, and check presentation to Haven Hospice.

Since inception, the catch-and-release event has raised and donated a total of $142,876 to Haven Hospice.

The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors provides professional development, political advocacy, professional standards administration, media relations, and promotional activities and exchange of information among its members.
