Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service Builds HabiJax Home

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service (NEFMLS) is sponsoring and providing volunteer labor to build a new HabiJax home for a local Jacksonville family. NEFMLS President Linda McMorrow, of The Legends of Real Estate, announced that construction would begin Feb. 14 and continue on consecutive Wednesdays for approximately seven weeks or until complete. A housewarming is planned in April.

According to project chairman Gene Jones, of ERA Dan Jones and Associates, the effort began as a way for NEFMLS to increase service to the community. With that goal in mind, the NEFMLS adopted a theme and project logo called Members Love To Share; highlighting the M, L and S of the logo to denote the MLS - the commonly used nationwide acronym for Multiple Listing Service.

For additional information about NEFMLS' HabiJax home build and other NEFMLS projects, contact NEFMLS Executive Vice President Ron Stephan.
