NEFAR's 911 Find Fast Task Force Launches Speaker's Bureau

Group's Work Complements City of Jacksonville Campaign

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors' (NEFAR) 911 Find Fast Task Force has launched a Speaker's Bureau, with members ready to speak at community organizations, groups or clubs to present the safety ramifications of missing, duplicate or not-clearly-visible house numbers and street names in Duval County.

NEFAR's 911 Find Fast Task Force complements the City of Jacksonville's Operation Find Fast campaign, which works to highlight the need for proper address display at homes and businesses. The thrust of both NEFAR's 911 Find Fast program and the City of Jacksonville's Operation Find Fast program is to make citizens aware of the importance of having clearly visible house and business address numbers posted so that emergency services/rescue personnel can find them quickly when responding to calls.

Unfortunately, emergency services/rescue personnel are often hampered in responding speedily by street, house, and business address numbers that are missing, incorrect, or not properly displayed.

Diane Moss, NEFAR's 911 Find Fast Task Force Chairperson, says, "Assisting the City of Jacksonville's Operation Find Fast efforts is a natural fit for Realtors. Realtors are out and about within the community every day and understand the problems that arise from improperly displayed or missing address information. We're happy to lend our support to this very worthwhile effort that can truly help save lives."

For more information about NEFAR's 911 Find Fast Task Force, contact Task Force Chairwoman Diane Moss at (904) 652-0017.
