As we all are aware, there continue to be ongoing concerns surrounding the spread and impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Your health and safety is an important priority for NEFAR, and we are committed to keeping you up to date on the actions NEFAR is taking now, and as the situation develops.
Due to uncertainty regarding spread of the virus, NEFAR made some difficult decisions. To continue to provide our members service, while simultaneously reducing the virus exposure risk, NEFAR has made the following operational changes.
Effective Monday, March 16
1) All in-person NEFAR classes, meetings, events, council events, and Tour of Homes / caravans are cancelled until further notice.
2) All NEFAR Service Centers, including the headquarters location, are closed to walk-in traffic. This includes walk-ins for any reason, including member services and visits to NEFAR staff. Member services, including making changes to NEFAR records, purchasing lockboxes, activating Supra eKEY services, etc. will be conducted digitally. NEFAR is now working on procedural changes to provide these services with a minimum of inconvenience to you.
3) Brokers: a procedure is already in place to allow new members to join NEFAR during this time, click here to learn more.
4) NEFAR staff will continue to report to work during regular business hours and can be reached via email and telephone.
We will monitor our in-person programming and member services schedule and will keep you posted when in-person services resume.
