NAR settles with seller plaintiffs about commissions

On March 15, the National Association of REALTORS® and other plaintiffs reached a proposed settlement agreement that would end litigation of claims brought on behalf of home sellers related to broker commissions. The agreement will resolve claims against NAR and its more than 1 million members as well as all state/territorial and local REALTOR® Associations, all association-owned Multiple Listing Services, and all brokerages with a NAR member as principal that had a residential volume in 2022 of $2 billion or below.
