JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 11, 2021) – Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS® member Bailey Jordan, a broker with Navy to Navy Homes, has been named as one of 50 finalists nationwide for the National Association of REALTORS® class of 2021.
Each spring, REALTOR® Magazine features 30 young rising stars in the real estate industry based on how they have demonstrated skill, success, creativity, and leadership in their young careers. In early March, REALTOR® Magazine announced 50 finalists from throughout the United States, including four from Florida. As young real estate leaders, the current crop boasts impressive resumes. Several own and operate their own brokerages and have established reputations as well-known community organizers. Many, like Jordan, have already worked in the business nearly a decade.
Of the 50 finalists, only one will be honored with REALTOR® Magazine’s Web Choice award. That winner is guaranteed a place in the 30 Under 30 class of 2021 having accrued the most votes through a week of nationwide online balloting. Members of the public are invited to vote via a free login REALTOR Magazine account each day. Voting began at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12 and continues until 1 p.m. Friday, March 19. Participants can vote for one 30 Under 30 candidate each day.
The remaining 29 honorees will be selected by a panel of judges selected by the magazine. The entire 30 Under 30 class will be announced on Monday, March 22 on the 30 Under 30 home page and will be featured in the May-June print issue of REALTOR® Magazine.
Three REALTORS® - Adam Gurske of Matchmaker Realty, Inc. of Gainesville, Samantha Marker of Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group of Cape Coral, and Desi Rodriguez of Strike Realty in Miami – joined Jordan as real estate professionals who made the list of 50 finalists.
A 2013 graduate of Florida State University, in college Jordan studied psychology and child development with an emphasis on business and a minor in hospitality. Immediately upon graduation, she began working in her family’s brokerage, becoming licensed in 2014. “As a third-generation real estate broker, you could say I grew up in the industry!” laughed the 29-year-old.
Jordan currently serves as chairman of NEFAR’s Mandarin Council and in the past has been an active member and former chair of NEFAR’s Young Professionals Network (YPN). She has also served NEFAR as a volunteer and has monitored its educational courses in the past. Especially notable is that in the seven years since she obtained her real estate license, Jordan has given back thousands of dollars to the community.
“I rebate back 25% of my commission to my buyers and sellers who are community heroes,” she said, noting her beneficiaries are military professionals, healthcare workers, teachers, clergy, and first responders. “I am proud that in my nearly seven years licensed, I have been honored to give back over $400,000 to my community heroes. As a brokerage, Navy to Navy has given more than $1.6 million back! It is my true honor to give back to these families who are on the front lines for us each and every day. To me, it is the least we can do. My experience growing up as a military brat has given me such a huge passion to give back to others.”
To be named as a finalist for NAR’s 30 Under 30 class of 2021 is also an honor, Jordan said. “It’s truly a humbling experience. I am so proud to represent NEFAR and my small but mighty brokerage, Navy to Navy Homes. I have admired this accomplishment since I entered the business nearly seven years ago. To actually be in the running for this year’s class fills me with much excitement, joy, and a huge sense of accomplishment both personally and professionally,” she said.
