Yvonne Giberson
March 1937 – June 14, 2022
Yvonne Giberson, a longtime REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty passed away on June 14. A memorial service for Ms.Giberson will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16 at San Jose Baptist Church.
Ms. Giberson worked as a REALTOR® for more than 40 years and held the prestigious REALTOR® Emeritus Merit Award for her years of service. She was just four months shy of being with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty for 30 years.
“She was a real lady in every sense of the word. She had a smile that would light up a room and make all those in the room feel good and included,” said Linda Benson, managing broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty. “She cared about others and went out of her way to let you know she cared. If you followed Yvonne on Facebook, then you know what a loving family she had. The love just poured out of her photos when she was with her grandchildren.”
Benson recalled that one of Ms. Giberson’s last Facebook posts was meant to lift the spirits of all her friends. Ms. Giberson wrote: “Two things to remember in life: Take care of your thoughts when you are alone and take care of your words when you are with people.”
“Yvonne’s words are simple and to the point but so important,” Benson continued. “She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. I am quite sure Yvonne has moved on to the most beautiful home any REALTOR® could imagine. May she rest in peace.”
