For REALTORS® who still need to complete their 3-hour Code of Ethics training before the December 31 deadline, NEFAR is offering two more virtual classes this year that meet the requirement.
- Tuesday, Nov. 9 @ 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. with Instructor Lorri Reynolds
- Thursday, Dec. 2 @ 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. with Instructor Patricia Sherman
These classes satisfy the mandated requirement for membership in both the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and NEFAR. They also fulfill the state of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation requirement for license renewal.
NEFAR’s classes are free to members, but REALTORS® are also welcome to meet the requirement through classes offered online by NAR or other real estate schools such as The CE shop or Mbition Real Estate. But remember, if you take a course from another education vendor or in-house from your brokerage you must submit a copy of your certificate of completion or a screenshot of your official education record found at www.myfloridalicense.com to NEFAR at education@nefar.com so that the documentation can be recorded by NEFAR and sent to NAR.
Failure to meet the NAR Code of Ethics requirement for the current cycle period ending December 31 will result in suspension of NEFAR membership in January 2022.
