A Message To NEFAR Members From President Ron Harris
NEFAR's leadership continue to monitor COVID-19 developments, including governmental guidelines and executive orders, closely. The health and safety of our members, and our Northeast Florida community, is paramount and a priority for all decisions regarding your Realtor association.
Simultaneously, we are keenly aware of the importance of conducting real estate business for not only you and your customers, but for our entire nation. To that end, NEFAR has shared a list of seven real estate best practices with our local elected officials. Here is a flier that lists these seven best real estate business practices.
I encourage all NEFAR members to follow these practices. The well-worn saying of which we are hearing a great deal these days is "we're all in this together." Nothing could be more apt, as everyone - from the smallest child to senior citizens in assisted care facilities - is being impacted in varying degrees.
Daily, we are seeing examples of your commitment and dedication to your customers through your adaptibility to serve their needs. I am very proud to be the 2020 president of the roughly 9,000 members of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. Your willingness to roll with the punches - and I suspect come out even stronger than before - is inspiring.
Thank you for your understanding of our necessary changes, as together we move forward in this challenging time.
