Julia Levy had everything positive to say as she finished up the five-day Certified International Property Specialist Institute at NEFAR’s Resource Center June 18.
“It was a wonderful time. I got to meet wonderful people and to learn about different cultures and to discover what more I need to learn,” she said.
Levy was one of five REALTORS® who completed the five-day institute at NEFAR. Successfully completing the five-day institute is one step and perhaps the most challenging requirement students have on their way to fulfilling the obligations needed to earn the designation from the National Association of REALTORS®.
Joining Levy in completing the institute were Jamillah Chaney, Carlos Fornari, April Hall-Lloyd, and Pamela Modisett. Five other REALTORS® – Mark Good, Kimberly Brown, Silmara Castilhos Saxena, Iracema Perez and Michael Leachman – completed one or more individual classes within the five-day institute.
Hall-Lloyd was very enthusiastic about the CIPS courses and said the experience was well worth the effort and investment. “It has been amazing. I always wanted to grow my international business, so this course has really enabled me to learn more about international transactions, international customers, and their cultures. It has really opened my eyes to things I never really considered as they relate to the international transactions I’ve had,” she said. “This course has taught me the things I’ve done right in the transactions I’ve had and things that I will do better at in the future. It has exceeded every expectation that I’ve had and has been well worth it. And the fact that it was all condensed, and that I could get it all in a two-week period was perfect for me. And I loved that I didn’t have to travel. Go NEFAR!”
