NEFAR Endorses Putnam County Political Races Candidates
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors' (NEFAR) Board of Directors voted to endorse Kevin Durscher in the Aug. 26 election for County Commission District 4. "Durscher has a proven record as a leader who can get the job done," says 2014 NEFAR President Linda McMorrow. "As a successful small business owner, Kevin understands how to promote economic development and grow jobs."
NEFAR's Candidate Screening Task Force interviewed candidates for election in Putnam County on July 17. Additional Putnam County endorsements are David Buckles (District 2), Gordon "Bud" McInnis (District 4) and Jane Crawford (District 5), for election to the Putnam County School Board. McMorrow says, "Putnam County Schools are facing tough challenges academically and financially. We believe these three candidates will be positive additions to the Board; offering fresh solutions along with experience and knowledge in education, business and community involvement necessary to raise the School District to the next level."
