NEFAR Fights Hunger
NEFAR raised funds for and packed 50,000 meals for hungry children and families in Northeast Florida.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Demonstrating that NEFAR Realtor and business partner / affiliate members do much more than engage in real estate business, 200 NEFAR members came together on May 11 to pack 50,000+ meals for hungry children and families in Northeast Florida. NEFAR members also raised the money to buy the meals, which were distributed to multiple agencies and schools throughout Northeast Florida that serve the hungry.

The fund raising and meal packing event was conducted through the efforts of NEFAR’s Community Affairs chairman and vice-chair, Don Mullinax and Garry Watson. These leaders, along with 11 additional team leaders, were instrumental in recruiting volunteers and raising the money to fund the food. The event was conducted in partnership with HungerFight.

A complete list of NEFAR team leaders, financial donors and volunteers is here (link removed).
