All the basics are here: how to join, a lockbox / key overview, contact details for Service Center locations, staff, and the leadership team, and a list of NEFAR's task forces, councils, and committees.
NEFAR members may purchase lockboxes and establish eKEY service at all five NEFAR Service Centers. For pricing information, contact NEFAR Member Services: Membership@NEFAR.com / 904-394-9494, ext. 1602.
Electronic Keys, called e-KEYS, are devices such as SmartPhones or tablets that you buy outside of NEFAR. You use your device to open a lockbox via the eKEY application. The eKEY uses the device's wireless communications to let you conduct business anywhere. Many Android and Apple phones and tablets are compatible: click on this Compatible eKEY Device List. Devices not on the compatibility list may still work, but your user experience may vary, as the devices on the list have been thoroughly tested by Supra and provide the best user experience.
Supra also offers a Supra eKEYQuickStart form that shows you how to download, install, or update the eKEY app.
Two service levels are available: eKEY Basic for common keybox functions, and eKEY Professional which includes basic capability plus additional tools such as MLS data stored on your phone, linking the listings to Google maps, and displaying showing details on your phone.
eKEY service fees are paid directly to SUPRA by monthly deductions from your credit card. ACH is not offered as a payment method. SUPRA does not discontinue fees charged to your credit card even if you stop using your eKEY or your credit card expires. Fees continue to accrue until you contact NEFAR in writing to cancel.
NEFAR contracts with Supra for the iBox BT LE lockbox model (also called a keybox). More models of smartphones and tablets communicate directly with the iBox BT LE than any other Supra keybox.
iBox BT LE is equipped with a large key container that can hold both gate cards and keys. The shackle is completely removed from the lockbox for easy handling when placing the lockbox on a property. Here is a pictorial that shows how to open or check the shackle code on a lockbox. The iBox BT LE communicates directly with most phones or tablets via infrared (IR), Bluetooth (BT), and Low-Energy Bluetooth (BT LE) technologies. Note: iPhone and iPad devices released before the iPhone 4S require a small adapter to communicate with iBox BT LE keyboxes.
Online Supra support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By telephone, reach Supra at 877-699-6787, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. eastern time, seven days a week. Full Supra product information is at http://www.supraekey.com/Pages/Home.aspx.
